When Robert Lowrey Piano Experts began selling Roland digital pianos in 1985, the local piano world was shocked. How could the largest traditional piano service facility in Canada represent this “electronic” pretender? It was however evident to us even then, that with the level of touch and expression Roland had achieved, this was by no means a gimmick, but a “game-changer.” We had also witnessed far too many worn-out old pianos discourage people who may otherwise have loved learning to play. Roland is here to stay, and wait until you see and hear what they’ve accomplished in 30 years.
