Upright Pianos for 1 to 3 days

Terms: To book a piano rental, we need the following information:

1. Delivery date + time + address + delivery details (stairs, ramps, etc.)
2. Pick-up date and time
3. Billing address (if different from delivery address)
4. Contact name and contact details (Phone, fax, cell)
5. Visa/Mastercard # + expiry date + cardholders name – or– cheques prior to delivery
6. Note credit card required for all rentals in the event of any damage charges.

Please note:
Piano will not be delivered without payment on or prior to the delivery date. there may be extra moving charges for Holidays, after hour delivery ramps, stairs or extended waiting times.

* High-end performance pianos, such as Imperial Bösendorfers, "Art-case" instruments may also be available, price to be determined.

Long-Term Rentals

We would ask anyone considering the long-term rental of a a piano to first consider our "70% Buy-Back/Trade-In Guarantee". There are many disadvantages to long-term rentals including:

1. You don't get your choice of piano, and the instrument is always the least expensive available.
2. A substantial amount of money has to be paid in advance including the cost of moving it in and out of your home.
3. If you do eventually buy a piano you pay top price for it.
4. The rental period available (6 months usually) is not long enough to determine if a piano is going to become part of your household.
5. If you don't buy a piano in 6 months, you are out-of-pocket all that you have spent. In fact these 6 month rental plans are just a strategy to force you to buy a piano at the end of the rental period.

Our 70% Buy-Back Guarantee

For almost 20 years we have had a policy which applies to all our traditional (non-electronic) pianos, whether new or reconditioned. During the first 3 years you have the piano we will buy it back, or take it on trade at 70% of your original pre-tax purchase price. You have 3 full years to determine if a piano will be appreciated in your home. Some simple conditions apply, contact us for more details.

Beginner Pianos

Another alternative we offer when our clients wish to keep their first expenditure on a piano low, is our beginner pianos.

Our beginner pianos are usually older uprights which we sell in the $1500 range plus tax. They are especially selected as being able to hold a tune, and play mechanically well enough that they will not discourage someone just starting piano lessons; they are not however good enough for, nor intended for long-term use.

We offer an 80% trade-in only guarantee during the first 2 years after delivery. Our intention is that these pianos only be used for a short time before the 80% trade-in guarantee is used.
